I decided to do a rebuild of the flipper mechs on my Eight Ball Deluxe Limited Edition. I got a rebuild kit and realized that the lower left flipper mech has an AQ-25-500 34-5050 coil in it now, but the rebuild kit came with a AQ-25-500 34-4500 coil. I'm no expert at coils or a lot of this machine, so can anyone tell me if this coil will be ok or do I have to replace it with another 34-5050 coil? thanks for any help.

What does the manual say is the correct coil? Someone could have chnaged it over the years.

looks like someone changed it out. According to the parts list on page 20 of the manual, it says the flipper assembly coil is the 34-4500. Now I'm glad I bought the manual. Thanks for your help!

Pinball resource shows a replacement could be used in place of the 5050. They show the 4500.

You can use it. It will have the same flip strength, but the hold will be a little weaker. I’ve seen this substitution a lot and it’s never been a problem.
