    Hello,
I'm rewiring a game and the +12v/ground to the playfield come from different sources between the two games. Game A gets its +12v/ground from J139 while game B is from J140. The +12v basically powers any special boards along the way to the 7 switch Opto board.
In game A it does not specify there J140 is used, just that it is a +12v source. Its cable color is the same for J139/J140 etc.

What I'm wondering is can I just use the J139 +12v in game B? My assumption is that these +12v sources are always on.

I believe j139, j140 and j138 are all pass thru headers for the same connector. Check your game manual to be sure. But yea. J139 and j140 are interchangeable.
