I've read to only use 194 lights in the white water topper, are the #555 okay as well? I want to add a mix of blue and white to the topper with the lights and these are the only blue ones I could find that will fit and they are #555. Thanks for any feedback!

555 are 6V, the 194 are 12V... you would blow the 555 bulbs very quickly.

If you are fixed on wanting to do this, try using a blue sharpie on a 194 bulb

    OR

You can buy an aftermarket driver board that supports 555 bulbs.

Interesting I have never herd of the sharpie trick, any experince with how that looks?
Do you know if anywhere sells blue 194 12V lights?

hehe, I've seen a few in the wild with blue lights just not sure how they did it or if they are using LED's which will soon ruin the topper board.

Comet used to sell LED 194...may want to check

You lose the cool topper effect with leds ...plus color just looks like crap up there...

Why not use the the 194 lamps and slap some blue bulb condoms on them if you absolutely must have color.

Imo original, non-colored, are the best though.

Don't use 555 leds. They will melt in minutes. Ask me how I know...

I saw a guy with a White Water on route who did this about 10 years ago. The topper LEDs all looked like roasted marshmallows. It was funny.
