Any help here is appreciated...I've been going at it with this game for over a month now, and think I'm down to the last issue.

The 'no way out' kicker keeps activating during the game - as if it thinks there is a ball sitting in the cup. I think I narrowed it down - when in the switch test, the right flipper button actually activates the center lockup (just a little bit, and its hard to see it because if also activates the flipper and eos switch for 2 flippers). I think this is enough for it to think there is a ball there and activate the kicker.

Any ideas ? I replaced a wire that had been burned - but other than that I don't see any obvious problem areas.

This particular switch is an opto...which I just replaced. But I wonder if its just junk because I ordered a few of them and one of the receivers didn't work at all - so maybe it goes in and out with the vibration of the upper flipper.
