Just curious, I am thinking about picking up a TAF, but I currently do have Whirlwind that I love to play. I have not really put much time into a TAF, but the layouts to look very similar. Does anyone have both of these machines, and do they play too much like one another?

They play similarly but there is obviously alot more to do in TAF with the modes. The extra flipper is cool, too. I personally would recommend against owning both of those in a small collection long term but I am idiotic enough to own both MM & AFM in a small collection, so take that with a grain of salt.

I say buy it and sell either ww or taf based on what you like. It is a great game for trade bait, too.

    good luck with your decision!

Whirlwind is a classic. You could own it, enjoy it and easily sell it later.
