My Dad's place has 5 pins on location right now in the northern Cincinnati suburbs, and some fantastic soft serve ice cream. Seemed like a better idea than trying to sell hardware or coffee out of that building...

If you go in the evening the lines will be long but they move them very efficiently. Plus as I tell folks that complain about that, find someplace that has crappy product and the lines will be much shorter.

It does feel like the apocalypse just happened when you walk through it...very creepy, zombies were definitely the first thing that came to mind walking through...

Arcade Legacy is worth braving the freaky mall to get to. They also sell a lot of vintage game cartridges and such if you are a collector of such things. It is a shame it is located inside the hulk of a dying whale that is the old mall, about 20 years ago someone decided that every highway exit needed a monster mall and it hasn't worked out well for any of them since.

Turns out that the test center is north of Cincy. Are his pins available to play around lunch??

They open at 11am. I should warn you, they dabble in sandwiches but their specialty really is just the ice cream. So unless you want to eat ice cream for your lunch consider them just for desert (or pinball).

We got some help from the Cincy Pinball group and I am happy to report that all the games have been serviced at The Cone and are ready for the new season. Not sure when opening week is, I think it's usually the beginning of April? The hope is to increase the number of pins as the kiddy casino stuff is scaled back this season.

For Northern Cincinnati "The Cone" always has a great lineup of well-playing games.

Thanks for noticing! We are striving to keep 10 clean-ish, working games in the gameroom at all times. Right now we are temporarily down to 9 while Shrek is on loan to my church, but he will be back on Saturday (and with a working mini-playfield to boot)!

If anyplace in Cincinnati has 10 (or more) pins let me know and we'll do more. This is a great form of competition that promotes pinball and is exposing a whole new generation to the games when thought they were only interested in great soft serve.
