Well I don't think the specialty miniature lamps we use are going anywhere for a few years but it's nice to have a stock of American-made GE and older Eiko lamps on hand. I like to use them in hard to service and high vibration areas where the crappy Taiwanese ones don't hold up. I use the foreign ones pretty much everywhere else.

I don't like to see people throwing out old lamps if someone else can use them. A route with 15 machines goes through them somewhat quickly.
