Vinyl-centric listening, but with modern conveniences:

VPI TNT Jr. with SME 309 tonearm is speed controlled by the VPI drive system
Oppo headphone preamp took over from a VTL tube pre (2.5) that I had for many years
Channel Islands monoblock amplifiers similarly replaced a VTL tube stereo amp long ago
Arcam player -- for those rare occasions where a CD is the only format I have for a given album
B&W 702 S2 speakers replaced (right before COVID lockdown in 2020) my old B&W Matrix 802 FS
    Original Nitty Gritty record vac

    Quoted from jrpinball:

Love my Maggies! If you've never heard Magnepans, you just don't know!

I'm so glad you shared the Magnepans! As a resident of the Twin Cities (MN hometown of Magnepan) I've long been a big fan. Over 20 years ago I owned & loved the Magneplanar MG1.6/R version. Had them for many years. Awesome speakers. I powered them with a VTL ST-85 stereo amplifier + matching VTL preamp. Delicious.
