Here's a pic of the mounted scoop light on TFTC.
Goes in a 555 socket (Miniature Wedge Base 2-Lead Socket With Rear Mounting Bracket)

The lower plastic goes on first, then the lamp socket held down by the short hex post, then the mostly-clear plastic on top.
