    Got a delivery on Friday.
    My lift ramp.
    So more ramp play over the weekend.
    More kind of refined it and put everything in place.
    Made the loop ramp a smaller diameter and added a spinner.

    The Sandman 2 exits work well now. 1 lane to upper flipper and 1 lane to right flipper.
    Everything works roughly as it should now.

    Shooter lane plunges. Hard plunge goes up Ramp. (Probably just have it comedown left wireform and not through Van)
    Soft plunge left orbit to upper flipper(Have a shot at ‘Shark Punch’ Target skill shot.
    Medium plunge left orbit and up to SURFS UP Lanes skill shot lit Letter.

    After having a look this morning with some fresh eyes and mind.

    I will shorten to Lift Ramp by 35mm(1 1/2”) to is will allow the centre of the loop be in a better position right above end of Bells Beach Drop targets lane and end target. So I can do a Replica of Bells Beach Bell(see pics) and hopefully have real Bell Ring as well?
    Plenty of room under lift ramp lane as well for drops and target.
    This also brings the Ramps further away from the Feature Van and gives a little room there, as it is currently crowding a bit.
    Still have to figure out how to do the clear right loop ramps. Still maybe make a mould and do it out of resin or maybe find someone to vacuum form if I make mould. Will see what I can do.

    Just had another quick look. Can’t help myself. Hahaha.

    Right loop ramps may not need to be clear. As I have made the footprint of them smaller and will be in much better positions when I shorten the lift ramp.

    Started On The Cabinet Side art.
    Thinking the Cabinet will be Surf(Daphne Blue) same colour as my guitar.
    Am probably going to work in the waves a bit more and put them in the letters instead of the other dark blue art.

    Finally had some time to get some work done on Surfs Up and some updates.
    Been super busy at work.
    Finally got my playfield and goodies from @Trident.

    Also decided to buy a 3D Printer. Damn what a god send these are.

    So first up- yep. I stuffed up an initial measurement, so a simple transfer from my first test white wood over to @Octomods playfield a was not so simple and pretty much most things had to be changed slightly.
    Basic layout stayed the same, but had to change a couple of shots and a couple of shots are a little tighter. Will see how it goes.
    Moved a secret hole shot from rear of playfield to behind third flipper. I like this better.
    Added another hole shot to under loop ramp at rear. This is essentially In The orbit area. (There was a lot of space in this area.) And can be hit with a slowish-missed timed shot around left orbit or off right orbit when pop up post has been activated.
    Both of these hole shots go In To subways and then VUK.
    Done a few revisions on the loop ramp. Happy so far. A few more tweaks most likely

    So with the 3d printer I have printed up the 2 X Subways, backboard subway and loop ramps. Quite a few revisions on each. Still need some final tweaks but all working.
    Took a little bit to get used to the 3D design aspect.

    Need to modify my lift ramp that was from a NoGood Gophers. (Top)
    Decided to just remake one from scratch. (Bottom) this worked out better as I could Incorporate part of the loop.

    Also redone main Left side Large ramp. This is working much better but one final revision should do the trick. The issue is with the plastic ramp coming around underneath and the wireform also in this area, which doesn’t allow the large ramp to sit nicely.
    I have mounted the wire forms instead of sitting in blocks of wood.
    So can gauge fittment of other items better.

    Lift ramp fitted with drop targets underneath. With target (Bell ring) at the rear.
    Still have to work out mech for lifting ramp up. Have some ideas but haven’t worked in them yet. Same applies to Sandman Van tailgate for multiball release.

    A few updates happening all at once.
    Thought I would break them down a bit.

    3D printed the Bells Beach Bell ring. Come out great. But a little too big. Done a smaller one, but still won’t fit where I would like.
    So changed the design a bit and it will fit above the entrance of the lift ramp.
    This also solved another issue I had. Due to Drop target Uber ramp there was not enough room to have standard thin targets to both sides of the ramp. But now I can mount them upside down to the bell ring model.
    Have yet to fit this up properly but it will work.

    I ordered a few more parts for playfield. So I switched my attention to the cabinet.

    Hopefully I haven’t messed up any measurement.
    I got the cabinet together and backbox. I did forget to put in slot bot back glass. Grrr.
    I will get this sorted. Hopefully not too difficult.
    It is currently sitting with a sanding sealer then a final run back and ready for some paint.

    Though I would paint up some metal parts, legs, backbox hinges , coin door, and lockdown bar.
    All in a dark blue. @bigdeal. Doesn’t have the metallic in it like yours.
    These will be all fitted up with Chrome bolts. Should make a nice contrast. And the main cabinet will be in a light blue colour with art work on it.
    I think that’s about all for now. All caught up.
    Can’t wait to get some wiring done and have it basic flipping. Next up.

    Got some colour on the cabinet today.
    Decals will go on later. Light blue similar to main colour of decals. Just so I can see how it all looks together.
    Dark blue trim pieces with chrome bolts when fitted.

    Should be ok. Fingers crossed.
    I have a Rick and Morty and it is similar to that ramp on height over distance. Definitely A nice crisp shot will be required.

    Busy season at work and very little progress on the pin at the moment.
    Have done a little on the Cabinet. Needs some high fill and more sanding to get nice and flat.

    Got the final playfield layout design sorted.

    Finally got all the playfield mechs fitted and in position. Wi to a couple of minor mods and a few millimetres to spare. Still have to do my Custom Bell and Sandman tailgate mech and lift ramp. They will come later.

    Put the inserts for a look. Ran short on a by a couple. So yet another order to Pinball Life.

    Hopefully to Do a bit more on cabinet next. Get LCD and And speakers Installed.
    Really want to
    Get started on installing GAST boards and get some stuff basic flipping.

    It some holes for the leds. And thought I would slap on some paint on to see what it looks like(pretty rough about 10mins) and to help me visual where the other art will go.
    Had to make Surfboard smaller than original size.

    I'm about to that point myself on my new homebrew. Getting close to layout, and cabinet completion. Mpf is scary, but lots of good guys to help us out here.
