Working on a 1976 Gottleib Surf champ and am encountering difficulty with 2 things.

1) 500 points is not scoring with consistency. I have adjusted and cleaned the 100 point switch on the "brain" (main computer) of the game a dozen ways. I am still not consistently getting 500 points from the game. I am wary of messing with the brain as I know that many things are interconnected with each 1/3rd rotation.

2) After fixing other problems, starting a new game, Surf Champ will not sense or kick a ball out of of the outhole and into the shooter lane. Tripping the outhole kicker relay does nothing. The saucer at the top of the pf will not sense the ball in the saucer either, but it will kick the ball out when the upper pf saucer relay is tripped.

I do have both schematics for the game. What should I focus on from here? If you have any other questions for me about this game and diagnostic processes, let me know.

Thank you.
