How hard is it to install the T-Rex mod?

Also, will the paint or teeth chip? I noticed on my stock Stern T-Rex the mouth paint is already chipped.

I installed my T-Rex head today, but I'm having a hell of a time getting one of the bottom screws back in on the new T-Rex lower jaw. After a long time of pressing down on the new lower jaw with all my force, I did finally get all the screws in, but then I guess one fell out during testing because I found it at the bottom of my cabinet. The screw feels like it is a tad too short with the new jaw in place, any suggestions? I was thinking about trying to really force it in again so it catches better and really crank down on it, or possibly filing away some of the screw hole in the new T-Rex lower jaw mold so that the screw tip can protrude more out of the lower jaw mold and catch the screw hole. Maybe that hole in the new mold is just thicker than the stock jaw mold? I attached a pic of the stock head because I didn't take pics of the new one when I was putting it back together, but that is the screw location that is giving me a hard time.

Quoted from JMCFAN:

I used a dremel and took some plastic out of the hole to allow the screw head to go a little deeper... had the same issue as you did Dont know the screw size.. could tale the assembly to Ace Harware and get some slightly longer screws too

I used a small Dremel bit by hand and I was able to shave enough away to get the screw to catch in the hole. I really made the screw tight this time! If that doesn't work I'll have to use Loctite.

Quoted from sirlonzelot:

Is there a way to limit the left movement? Mine is hitting the electric fence hard.
Can someone tell me the adjustment to move head more down to the ramp, for better ball catches ?
Thank you

Can you tell me what setting you used to fix this? Mine hits the electric fence too.

Hello guys
i know youre waiting for the JP upgrade kit and also for the Raptor and we will release it soon.
right now we are busy with some other projects.
The T-REX head is SOLD OUT at little shop of games and if you're looking to get one you can find it at
Ministryofpinball.com
those are the last ones you can get and there is only 4 in stock right now
The signs are almost sold out too and there is only few action buttons left.
we are working hard to upgrade the left area on that game and its takes time and if you saw the news we are busy now with different projects.
Thank you very much for your awesome support!

What is the "JP upgrade kit" and I can't wait to see the Raptor!

The Tower needs a better mod that isn't 3D printed.

Yes we will do those too.

Hell yeah, I cannot wait! I feel like once the left side is done, mine will be close to perfect.
