I want to buy a replacement overlay for my Slugfest. I'm attaching a picture of just how terrible mine currently looks (the picture only shows one side, but it's just as bad on the other side as well).

How would I get the rest off? Never done anything like this before, so any/all help is greatly appreciated.

Okay, here's where I'm at. I have removed almost all of the old adhesive, but 80% of the control panel is metal. Some of you have said to spray paint or paint it before applying the overlay. Should I spray paint the whole thing (wood included)? Or just paint the wood and leave the metal?

I hate to bump this, but if I don't then my question will fade into obscurity.

Can anyone help? I got all the glue off, the wood is sanded and the metal is nice and shiny.

What's the next step?
