If you're tired of losing your ball stupidly without being able to fight in the left outlane (or even right too), yoyo has worked for you, no drilling in the playfield , no wild editing
In test in my pinball for one week

It looks great! I want a pair please!

#3 8 years ago

Breadfan makes these way better

#4 8 years ago

This may be the most elegant solution we've seen yet. Bravo!

#6 8 years ago

Looks great. Like Awsome great!
The backside of it looks like it fits into the laneguide like a key to keep it from twisting, is it?
Did you make these?
I would like to get a pair.

#7 8 years ago

Breadfan did start making these awhile ago but I do have to admit, this design looks better to the eye. I think breadfans are made of metal, how will plastic hold up against a metal ball smashing into it?

#8 8 years ago

This looks better because the backside is keyed into the lane guide to keep it from twisting without having to reef down on the screw that holds it.
I'm curious on how the plastic lane guide is holding up, looks like a very solid set up.

Hi everybody
I made two versions of the "Save post", the first that is in early in this topic, the second, is more strong and reinforced with metalic rod (2mm) at the rubber support, this version is installed for about three weeks in my TWD it's played over 100 games without any breaks

I made about 10 sets out of metal, then found a guy with a 3D printer & injection mold. The metal ones are by far the best. These look pretty good but you can't adjust the gap since it's locked into place. No big deal for most, but I found mine to work best turned in just a tad. I've got another idea I'll be trying here shortly. These do look great. Good job yoyokopter.

Pm sent

#16 8 years ago

My goal was to position a "save post" like all Data east or some stern as " Austin power" without piercing the playfield, that's why it is blocked and not adjustable in angle , the rubber is positioned exactly as a data east

#17 8 years ago

I got the post today. Looks great and professional. The price is fair.

Thanks a lot.

Hello dear pinball friend,

all is done.

Thanks,

#21 8 years ago

Got the posts as well. Installed within 3 min. Looks and works perfect.

#22 8 years ago

I'd be interested. What is the cost on these shipped to Canada?

#23 8 years ago

I received these 3 days ago an I just now installed them on both left and right outlanes. Took about 5 min to install.
20 bucks including shipping was a very reasonable price.
Thay look great! May have to change my star posts back to the origionals.
Time to play some and see how that hold up.

thank you guys for your comments

#25 8 years ago

One hour of play and these are awsome!
Thay are keyed to the outlanes so thay stay straight without having to tighten down super hard on the screw that holds them. Very nice design.
Great job yoyo!

so now you can only lose the ball sdtm??

Yes, because its now up to par with every other pinball machine on outlane nudging.... Oh I see you don't own a TWD so you know what you are talking about.

#28 8 years ago

No I don't own but ball went stdm off magnet more than down outlanes on the one I played on route

Yes plus when I compair to my spiderman theTWD flippers are 1/8 inch wider apart and spidy has a centerpost. So the flipper area is set up tougher.
TWD is a great game but the outlanes and wider flipper gap make it very tough.

good, it should be hard.

Hello,

I installed these save posts in my TWD, installation is simple and done in about 5-10 minutes.
Very nice parts good work!!
And they can be easily removed within 5-10 minutes if you don't need them anymore.

#33 8 years ago

looks great how do I order thanks

#34 8 years ago

Cant wait for my set to arrive.

I just sent him a pm on these, if shipping is killer to just order one set, I can do a bulk buy a sell to you guys like I did with the clear TRON discs.....what has shipping cost been on these?

#36 8 years ago

I got them $20 shipped to the US.
I played many games with them and thay held up.
I would recommend having them to make the game easier on the brutial drains of TWD to get further on the game and to have a good time playing your game especially for guests or kids that are not hard core players.
I have since removed them and cut a post rubber in half and slid it over each of the outlane guides on both sides.
Thay are a clear superband post rubber so that may be hard to see in the pictures.
I also have the larger star posts on both sides and this seams to be a good setup for me.

Had my save posters in for a few weeks, very happy with them, fantastic quality & fit perfect,

#38 8 years ago

Got my save posts a few weeks back. Installation on my LE was a breeze, I just removed 3 or 4 screws from each ramp and was able to move them enough to put the posts in. They fit like a glove! The posts, combined with the new code and custom callouts make the game more fun to play! Thanks yoyokopter!

#39 8 years ago

I would love to add these posts. Are they still available?

#40 8 years ago

Excellent mod!
Great price and shipped quick..
Thank you again

#44 8 years ago

Im confused are there two pinsiders selling two different posts?

#45 8 years ago

pulled the trigger on a set also.. 1000 games without, its fun, tough as nails, but now its time for the rest of the family/friends to also get more than 20 secs of play per game

I bought them a long time ago and they are awesome, I ended up selling my TWD but these outlane extenders made the game enjoyable. I was pretty frustrated with the game which is what it is but my wife did not not like playing it at all.

#50 8 years ago

I put them on mine and they take the outlanes down from downright brutal to normal. The center drains eat your ball more than enough on this game, you don't need it at the outlanes as well.
