Getting the band involved like that makes it such a passion project, this is an amazing day for Rush fans. It's like they built a happy shrine to Rush.

Quoted from Marty_Graw77:Most of the art looks good…
with the exception of the horrible cartoony depictions of the band.
Have to disagree. Appearing as comic book characters goes with the playful nature of the band. Getting to be young and badass forever via a pinball machine, it's the dream...
Wow, game plays faster and crazier than I thought it would, you could call the game Rush even without the band reference.
Best use of color I've seen in a game in a long time, maybe only bested by the Stranger Things UV add-on...
Quoted from cooked71:Yeh, I was surprised they didn’t use the magnet for some staging and effects etc. On the promo stream it actually threw the ball back to the player but I didn’t notice it here at all.
Maybe to come?
Definitely. Sometimes for the debut they disable bits that aren't stream/code ready, but yeah, the game trailer shows what the time machine can do.
Quoted from blueberryjohnson:Highly doubtful. The however many hundreds of band callouts detail has been a promoted selling point of the game. They put out a BTS video feature of their recording and had barenaked ladies guy pinball celebrity direct the VO sessions. So they clearly already dedicated significant time and energy toward them, and are presumably pleased with the results.
I actually like hearing band members in their regular speaking voice, it feels more natural. I know Geddy added so oomph and enthusiasm for some of the callouts for bigger game events, but for lots of others I prefer the conversational tone. Feels more like you're hanging out with the band.
