Having an issue with my Riverboat. Wheel is inaccurate about 50 percent of the time. It seems to lag a little behind and usually gives the wrong color. Game gives “wheel error” message. Any help is appreciated.

I don't know much about the wheel - but did you check all the basics:
- dirty/ loose connections?
- clean opto?
- loose wheel?

I think one of the possibilities could be a loose wheel. It’s working fine now, but what could I do to tighten it?

Sorry, I really don't know.

Bump for a Riverboat Gambler owner to chime in and help out

Several things.
The black wheel as a set screw on shaft.
The black wheel has a zero mark, hash/arrow.
This mark should be at 6 oclock, pointing down.
Now to find zero on motor.
Game needs to have attract mode turned on.
Play quick game, now let game cycle thru its attract mode. Only does it once at end of game
Game can be on for days and will only do this mode once at end of game.
Now, aftet this attract cycle, the 2 greens should end up at 12 and 6 oclock, will happen and should happen every time.
If it does not....loosen set screw and place at this position. Tighten, when tighting you have to be careful not to shift wheel past thiis zero mark.
Lastly, this is all dependant that sticker was placed on wheel correctly. If it wasnt, the attract mode will still place wheel at 12 and 6 oclock.
If sticker is off, these can been removed and fixed carefully. Place wheel on freezer for few hours, will help remove and fix sticker.
Good luck.
Let me know.

Thank you!! I’ll try that. Quick tip, if you want to get into the attract mode where it shows you all the features like at the end of a game, just click one of the four colors on the lockdown bar. Found that out by accident.
