Back in the day when "Team One" first came out, I remember seeing a few copies of Gottlieb's "Kicker" on location as well. It's the Italian version, and for all intents and purposes, it's exactly the same game. Haven't seen one since, and since it's probably pretty scarce now, I'd be reluctant to convert it if I ever came across one again.
Looking forward to seeing the new "Wizard" at Pinfest!

Quoted from pinhead52:

Funny Steve at Mayfair had a Kicker glass for sale when he was at TPF. I snatched it up...
See you guys soon.

It will work in a "Team One". The only difference besides the name, is that the word "WOW" does not appear on the red flags which indicate extra balls won.
This is true on all of the Italian version WOW games, starting with 1976 "Spot Pool".

Pretty dry around here lately.

Quoted from Judoratt:

So here’s my question with only 650 team ones built and 48 pin side owners registered, and Ken the butcher along with others are taking 25 out of circulation will this make Team One more sought after and or valuable? I keep waiting for my team one to double in value?

Good angle!

Quoted from pinhead52:

Its always location dependent. NY/NJ where EMs are bountiful they are discounted 30%? TeamOne, Ive bought games starting at $500 all the way to $1000 (have bought 12 so far). Backglass has always been an issue with this tittle. But my estimation, a nice game, as shown above ~$2000. Maybe $2500 to the right buyer. This is US$ of course

I owned a really gorgeous one for about half an hour once.
Bought it at the York show, with the sole intention of trading it for a woodrail game that a vendor was selling, but I felt was overpriced. I think I paid like $550 for the "Team One", and it was super nice all around. I had the vendor come and look at it, and he agreed to trade the woodrail for it.

I've heard many collectors who have said that the game play of "Team One" is great, but the graphics suck. I doubt doing 20 or so conversions will have much effect on the supply or value of "Team One" games in their original form. Ken has done a great service, and his product is a hit!
Now, will someone please make a "Canada Dry" playfield so that I can convert my "Target Alpha"?

What do you mean by that?

Quoted from Playdium:

It's a great game to play! Theme may not be appealing, but still a great player.

For sure. The graphics are the problem!

Anybody else have an opinion?

Yes. Totally agree that the high score box ruins the appearance of the backglass. I wish all reproduction add-a-ball backglasses would have omitted it.
