What is the proper way to re-pin the daisy chain connectors on my displays? Do you twist the wires together before inserting into the crimp contact?

What size crimp contacts should I use. 18-20 AWG or 22-26 AWG?

I've only done one crimp so far and it seems difficult to twist the wires together because there is so little wire exposed. Also I used the smaller contact because the larger size looked too big.

Thanks

Bob
