I'd like to restore the cab on my R&B, and would rather go the route of cab decals vs. touchup if possible.
anybody know if decals are available??

Hope you can find some OP.
There are so many machines out there that owners would love to restore or just beautify with a new set of cabinet decals if they were available . There's a LOT of money to be made out there reproducing this stuff. I'm sure people would easily be more than willing to pay $3-$4 hundred dollars for a set of nice quality decals for machines where they are no longer available.
Anyway, good luck again and I hope you can find a set.
I recently created new custom decals for my R&B. I took photos of the original artwork, re-drew it all in Adobe Illustrator, and had a local sign company print them on black-backed vinyl with a clear varnish. Before applying the decals, I filled in some damaged corners with wood filler and painted the edges, corners, and the inside of the cabinet and backbox with gloss-finish paint. Have a look.

I took the opportunity to add some shading and gradients to give it dimension, added a horizon on the back box and fixed Bullwinkle's head on the cabinet sides. It always looked poorly drawn to me, so I used the back glass image as my model. I don't have a photo of the new front, but it's also based on the original design. All those tiny white dots took forever...
I've already received some messages asking me to make more copies to sell!

You definitely should. It's just too bad you couldn't the print work yourself to sell them cheaper while making more profit.
I would be interested in a set of rocky and bullwinkle decals too. Or if you wanted to just charge for the files that you worked on I can have a local printer make them. Actually that makes more sense for both parties probably.

The gradients look stunning. Far superior than the "wall of blue" standard DE finish.
Awesome work.
I just sold my R&B or I'd be hitting you up for a set. Awesome.
