TRON: Legacy (Pro)
Stern, 2011Id like to sell this to someone who really needs it at a fair price, what say you on the value of this LED orange 5v Stern Display? Its from my TRON, so not very old, I dont think the LED displays ever gas out like the plasma's?
Help me come up with a fair price and I will turn this into a FS thread, thanks dudes!

They are orange. I had mine out to install the 3M privacy film when I had it. It was the oct run that had the first DMDs. It's orange with a red plastic filter.

Not without a harness. If you have a newer Stern that runs a 5V LED DMD then you can swap. Otherwise you will need to make a harness to pull the 5V from your current DMD power supply.

Whoa! I never would have guessed. That makes me wonder what it looks like without the red filter. I'm too cheap to buy a blue LED display, but orange sounds better than red in Tron. Pinbits doesn't carry an orange filter, do they?

I bet you could go to any craft store and find sheets of translucent film to cut to size, probably rather inexpensive too. The blue DMD I got from PBL included a thick blue plexiglass(or whatever) piece that replaced the clear one on my TRON.

I am not sure of anyone who sells just the harness but it's a pretty simple harness so I am sure someone could make them for sale. I purchased a red LED DMD from a pinsider and he included a harness. If you buy them from Pinball Life it says it comes with a harness as well.
