Last night during a four man, five pin tourny, pinbots flipper spring bound up.
Now, do you take the highest score on pinbot at that point? Or do you just take the pin and scores out of the tourney?
Wondering what you guys do.

I'd skip the scoring for that game. Its going to be unfair to someone unless it crapped out during the 4th players turn and he was winning.
in the case of only 4 guys playing five different pins, the common thing would be that all 4 players have to finish the game for it to count and the machine must not have any major changes from the 1st to the last guy. So, for your case, get rid of the game from scoring.
That's what we did.
The guy playing when it crapped out had a mega score going so he thought we shoulda scored it when it went down.
Sometimes you need to be a bit practical about things.
I played a tourney last weekend where the Medieval Madness first started to reset. Forcing players to start over, having an otherwise great game or being blessed with a chance to redeem a poor game. After some fixes to the power driver board the game was back in action.
Now, however, the drawbridge was stuck. Making Castle completions a whole lot safer, thus boosting scores. When I got around to it through. The drawbridge was fixed.
Games break during tournament.
