I don't have this problem. I have mine set to use one ball DTR.
You might try that and see if it helps in your situation.
If you don't like it, or it does not work, you can switch it back.
The game was not designed using these different (stronger) coils, peddled by some seller. It appears that installing these coils may interfere with the settings that are in the software created to resolve any issues with the flippers (Stern's solution), and switching to 1 ball DTR (Stern's solution)
Also, considering the standard slope for the game (6.5 degrees). Increasing the flipper power not only effects DTR and getting up a ramp, but all shots with the flippers, including soft ones. I would not recommend changing "overall" flipper power. How hard do you want to hit the Palantir? How hard do you want to hit the Gollum's Cave? Do you want it to shoot through?
