Just as the title says. I'm curious what some of the least expensive pinball machines are when they're in flawless condition along with why they're priced so low. I know EMs are often (though not always) much cheaper than solid states, so I'm also kinda curious for answers from both angles. Maybe even separations by manufacturer or such. Just, any thoughts at all that anyone has on this!

I couldn't see hollywood heat going for over 1000 even in perfect shape. Its cause of the theme and manufacturer.I like Gottliebs but many people don't care for them.

While I'm generally not a fan of the newest games, I think the new Stern Pros are some of the best deals out there if you want a flawless game

probably games with a combination of no DMD, non-B/W, and ugly art or really bad theme. Hardbody, Hollywood Heat, etc.

Hollywood Heat isn't worth that much? : o

VERY curious... I've actually played that one right around when I was starting to get back into pinball earlier this year. I didn't think it was so bad. Catchy synth music, gaudy but interesting retro theme to the art, simple playfield design and a ruleset that's easy to understand... also very forgiving in that it only has a single outlane. Kinda surprised it would be one of the least valuable pins out there... maybe TOO simple for the average person? *shrugs*

Actually, the person I know who owned it has since sold it to make room for more pins but knowing that it's not worth that much may make it a good one to keep my eyes open for in the future. : )

I'm curious about EMs too so I'm hoping someone has some input on that side of the coin. : B
