The short pulse magna-saves are great, a bit like the mini playfield on Twilight Zone. Really like the game play, and it gets better with the custom rom.
Don't overlook ebay for original or aftermarket boards.
I'd use a list of part prices to negotiate a better deal, or walk away. And the $400 playfield & cabinet must be nice enough to be worth spending a lot your time and money on them.
