I don't think it would be a better game necessarily, but I wouldn't miss them if they were gone either. TROLLS!!!!!
I think the MM trolls are great and add to the overall game experience. Trolls on Pinside.....not so much. The tone on Pinside has declined dramatically over the past few months due to a few posters. I wish the Mods would be a little less tolerant and send them under the PF.
Maybe they can come out with a troll label option.......where we can point out who we think is nothing more than a troll and it only gets reported to the moderators. Then after a said amount of labels from different members, they get vanished!
But make this option only available to the members that have donated etc......

I absolutely agree. I would like to see the mods just delete certain posts all together before they even become a pissing match. It is sad to see EVERY single thread get tainted by the same names. I think overall the mods do an excellent job. This idea to me is just asking them to get more strict to keep out the arguments.

Agree, and unfortunately the same posters have troll bombed the JJP forum. Totally changed the tone there and lots of people no longer post. Too bad.

A trolls greatest skill is to envoke an undying need to reply to their posts. All those that rise to a trolls post have themselves fallen victim to the true intentions of the beast. Several hail mary's before bedtime should do the trick....
I like the trolls. I don't think Danish ones count 
but pencil ones do....
I think MM to be a lesser game without them.
As for Chocky's comment there should just be mini LED monitors with plexi fronts that you can hit.
Like in the mini tron arcade mod. So then you can flash memory upload your faces and change them if you find new better trolls or enemies to upgrade to. =-)

Oh I don't know, the French had it about right in the late 1700's...sometimes excess corruption and abhorrent behavior need to be dealt with harshly AND publically - some would call that justice. The way things are going globally - economically, politically, and socially - going long guillotines might be a good idea. Anywhooo, back to pinball.
I have seen a lot of hate on pinside lately. Everyone needs to lighten up. Drop the keyboards the next time you are going to respond or retaliate with hateful words. Or write the message and re read it and say to yourself is this really what i want to say? So many people get caught up and say shit they didn't want to say, because they are in the moment and are not thinking clearly. Not trying to be a holy roller on here, but the amount time people spend on here bitching and fighting is questionable.
If I get heated on a subject I will read it then call up a buddy and discuss it. I won't discuss it here or on RGP.

No doubt. This place is just crazy out of control lately. When I first joined, i felt like this was a very lighthearted place compared to a few other sites I used to regular. Not anymore. Even I have been dragged into some fights i am embarrassed about.

I agree with you all the way and it doesn't take much to get everyone dumping on you and eventually you end up painted in a corner as a 'bad guy' .
Reputation & image are very important in the Pinball world doors do get closed fast.
But for those guys/gals that come here off other sites that are more hostile and want to continue with all the negativity you wont last here - trust me you wont .

There's a group called the Troll Associates that the X-Men have had to deal with from time to time. I assume this is what the reference is...

Yes, more and more so everyday. I welcome those from RGP that have defected due to the hostility over there. I do not welcome the those that want to bring their hostility from over there to here.
Hopefully the moderators will keep it all in check. So far no "Frank", so it has not hit rock bottom yet.

Just like the boogie man that lives under your bed (or closet), if you ignore him (in this case,THEM!) he'll go away.
Or, depending on the movie he's in he might just eat you regardless of what you do!

Actually, after reading the RGP thread about their opinions of Pinside, I noticed mention that there is a "Frank" here. He's supposedly not as active and goes by a different name but they do say he's here. Whether or not we should believe what the RGPers say is debatable.
