Hello,
I have a High Speed Pinball that keeps blowing the fuse which runs the ball kicker so :-)lenoids (when you go on the ramp and they get caught, it won't kick the balls back into play). I replaced the fuse twice and it keeps blowing it. It blew a fuse and the only thing I did do was solder a wire which had came off the solenoid for when you get a free game. Could it be blowing the fuse? I am relatively new to fixing pinball machines so anything you could offer would be helpful. Thank you.
Are you talking about the left hideout coil, cut one side of the diode off and measure the resistance. Should be above 4 ohms. Let me know what you find. The coil for a free game is called the knocker, cut one side of the diode off and check the resistance of this coil too. Should be above 4 ohms also.
