I have a Gottlieb Volcano (model 667, system 80, 1981)

My manual and schematics reference "optional electro-mechanical coin counters". I can see a label and extra wiring in the lower cabinet for them. I was reading somewhere that very few machines had these installed.

Now I'm really curious. Does anyone have a Gottlieb system 80 game with the the coin counters installed? What do they look like? Can someone please share a photo?

Thank you!

A long time ago, I think I saw some meters installed in a Black Hole.

This was a gottlieb touchdown.

This was likely something an operator added on their own, rather than a factory add-on.

But that's more or less what a counter looks like. Most others I've seen in games are about half the length of this counter. I'm not quite sure why this one was so long.
