Close Encounters of the Third Kind
Gottlieb, 1978Hi, I´ve been trying to fix a Close Encounters but ran out of ideas now... I´ve done the ground mod. and the game boots up normally with the 5sec. delay and so on. But when I am starting a new game and press the start button the Outhole Kicker starts fiering constantly/repeated... Nothing wrong with the switch so I think the problem is on the CPU- or the driver board, or? Thanx!!
Go through a switch test and solenoid test in diagnostic mode.
That should help narrow down which is actually malfunctioning.
