I'm working on getting a friends Monte Carlo up and running, and ran into my first problem. When the game is turned on, it just shows zeros for all the scores, some credits, and then appears to reset. There is a flasher/controlled light and a coil that also fires during this process. I have a feeling that this is a common problem in System 80 games, but I'm just starting to read through pinwiki and hope someone can give me some pointers on where to start.

Thanks for the tip. I ended up RTF-wiki and did what they suggested of removing all connectors and cleaning them. Game now boots.
