As far as price pumping goes, it's not a new phenomenon on Pinside. I far as I can remember its always been that way. It's probably gotten a little worse now that people are sitting on pins they paid over 9k for vs over 4k. I think it's natural for people to want their games to hold (or gain) value vs decline. I realize that to an extent, that comes at the expense of prospective buyers, but you can't fault someone for wanting their games to hold value.
