I have had this idea for a while now, but man I can be lazy.

So everyone has a trick on the easiest way to adjust leg levelers to level out a game. Crow bar, use a cart or your back. Anything to get the weight off the leg so you can turn it.

I've tested this on standard WPC, EMs, and Sys11 games. No issues. Haven't tried it on widebodies, Sterns, Bingos, etc

Well this is what I came up with. It's easy, and won't cost you a thing (unless you don't have a dremel an or cutting discs)

    What you need:
    Dremel
Cutting discs. I get em cheap at Cardboard Freight. They get the job done and are way cheaper than anywhere else
    Vise
Safety equipment. Goggles at minimum, although a painters mask is a good idea. Lots of small metal will be flying, and you don't wanna breathe that in.

You are going to cut a cross into the top of the leveler, so that you can use a socket wrench and a Phillips head attachment to allow you to turn the leveler. You only need to cut down about a 1/4" or so. The cuts don't have to be perfect, just good enough to accept the attachment.

    It works, and works well.

I like it! have you tried to do the cuts without taking it off the leg?

Nope. Its easier for me to just take it off.

Try using an electronic screwdriver to get them out even easier!

This spins the whole foot right? I've had problems doing that depending on the floor surface, etc

Good idea. I would be wary about a drill

It will spin the entire leveler. It should work well on any smooth surface. Carpet might offer resistance, but none of my games are on carpet.

    B&D fits right in there

Its more about the torque the drill has being able to bend the cut sections. Havent tried it yet.

We've been doing it a long time and it's working out well.

Man what a great idea, wish this came standard on all the machines.

So who's gonna be first to market with these? There's always a huge chunk of people who don't want to do any work and just plug something in. I'd probably just order dozens of these if the price was right.

I thought about it heavily....I just severely lack the funds to do so.

Once you have cut the slots, is the leveler able to come completely off of the leg? Are the threads stripped at the top?

I think that this is a great idea, I just wanted to be able to remove the leveler if something happened to the leg.

    Thanks.

    They already make them

    Threads aren't stripped at all.

You can accomplish the same thing with two nuts on each leveler jammed against each other.

I always just used a wrench on the square part of the foot itself; is this even easier than that?

Seems like this is way easier.

Yup. I dont keep those nuts on hand though. I do keep a dremel and cutting discs on hand.

I swear I've actually seen this in the wild somewhere sometime... It'll prolly occur to me in the middle of the night sometime. But I know I've seen this. Nice job.

Also double nutting works well too...

Good idea! Currently I use these to lift the pin, then set the levelers. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B097K7JG56

Not sure this would work for me having my pins on a carpet, lots of friction there.

Will keep using my pin dolly

    How are you using these?
    With a board?

    Factory off a pin I purchased…
