Trying to get it back to working on my Getaway. I look at the website and it’s literally Chinese to me. Can anyone help with instructions on how to set up the microsd and the software? Thank you!
I'm assuming this was working at some point and the display is activated and that it is a new style EVO board.
You just need to put 2 files on a microSD card and you're good to go. You will need to get pin2dmd.fsq and pin2dmd.pal files on the card. There are a couple of different sources for these files. You can reach out to slippifishi for a free set or reach out to
Redrum1986 and make a donation for his. The slippifishi files aren't 100% complete but I believe the redrum1986 files are.
Both of these members will require the UID of the display to generate files for you. You can find that by going into the menu. Have a look at my site for instructions on how to access the menu - https://www.cdnpin2dmd.ca.
