Renovating a T2 machine that lacks a coin acceptor. I guess that it is possible to make it work without a coin acceptor, for now I'll just put it on free play. Should I simply don't connect the wires going to the coin acceptor and let them hang loose? Or should they be connected to eachother?

Actually the same question goes to the slam tilt switches and the coin chute lamps.

The 13-pin connector on the coin door interface board is only connected to the control panel on the door (the 4 buttons to enter setup menu etc). All other wires that goes from that connector (coin acceptors, slam tilt switches and coin chute lamps) are cut off.

If I dont want those things, how do I wire to "bypass" them so that the game will work without them?

Don't do that. The game will think the coin switch is stuck closed.

Tape them up so they don't short to anything. Easy later to undo and wire in a coin switch later if you want to.

Thanks mate! I suppose the same answer goes for the other things I mentioned... except for the slam tilt switches maybe, there I should wire together the cables so that it simulates that the switch is closed (=coin door is closed) , right?
