If the game is still NIB, it hasn't been registered. You just have to go to Stern directly for warranty issues, instead of a distributor contacting them. Depending on the distributor, this isn't necessarily much of a loss. That isn't even a knock on people: some distributors are set up for predominantly experienced pinball professionals, where others cater to clients who have to schedule a service call to wax the playfield.
