Curious as to what the 1978 Bally Pinball machine inclines should be? Are they supposed to be 6.5 degrees? Anyone know?

Best way to level a game is to get the pinguy app on your phone! It's a free download and very user friendly

That's pretty steep, I believe they were typically set between 5.5 and 6 degrees. Although......I have my Xenon set at 6.5 degrees and LOVE it! So set it where YOU like it and don't worry about any recommended settings.

I had my Centaur at around 7 for a while and it was kicking my ass too badly. I now have it between 6 and 6.5 and it plays well.

Some of mine are steep. Like Fireball II. I usually adjust for best play/action. Trial and error process. You'll know if it's too slow of play.

I put my eight ball deluxe at 5.5 degrees which seems optimal. Plays great.

What's everyone using to set their machines up?

    Here's what I use:

If it plays well at that incline, then I think you have found the right setting.
