If you are in this hobby to enjoy playing the games, this should never be a factor. The value of these things is still so much better than cars for example. Play it until you don't want it anymore or keep it....don't worry so much about the small dip in value.
I would like to put more games in on both versions, I like Avengers and as you mentioned, you really need to be on your game to hit the shots.
