4 Square
Gottlieb, 1971Gottlieb 4 Square, Had a small holiday get together so this machine was played more than normal if this makes a difference.
Ball 1 plays. Then before ball 2, 3, 4, or 5 it skips to "game over". Doesn't happen every game but maybe 2 out of 5 games played.
What should I check? I watched what moved when it advances to the next ball but I haven't been able to replicate the problem when I have the playfield lifted up.
Does the Tilt light come on when this happens? Or, if the Tilt bulb is out, does the TB/Tilt relay trip?

No, tilt bulb works, doesn't light up when it jumps to game over. It seems to go from ball X (whatever number) to game over. Not every time though.
