Funny thing is that I didn't see anyone take credit for writing it? So the author couldn't even find joy in giving his opinion.
I'm not happy about the price increases (who is?), but overall 2016 was still a very good year for pinball. We have more pins to choose from, from more manufacturers, than most of us could have imagined only 7-8 short years ago. Pinball is booming compared to then.

I have not played RZ myself, but pretty much every person that I've talked to who has played it feels the same.
