This is an inaccurate account of the transaction. I sent several pictures and video of the machine. The cabinet issues were disclosed. He came with his friend and picked up the game. He knew there were brackets to hold the cabinet together and screws. Again, they are in the picture. I sent him a video of me playing the game too. He even used my pictures and video to sell the game!! » Read more
History of the game:
I purchased this game from a Pinster. The original listing is: https://pinside.com/pinball/market/classifieds/ad/81800. Usual back and forth with Evam for a deal, however she never disclosed to me any cabinet issues. As the ad states, "Excellent condition and fully shopped". The ad bolsters the game. She did tell me that TNT Amusements did the games. My thought was WOW, what a great deal, I saw the Demo man in the background and put a combo deal together. Again, she never disclosed that there were cabinet issues, with either game. Being that it was a few hours away and I don't own a van or SUV I sent Ray, a pinball mover, to collect the games and pay Evam. Ray goes, picks up the games and then drops the games off to me. I did notice the cabinet issues on both machines when he dropped them off and said to myself I was duped. Both games electronically played great. No errors or other play issues. After the games arrived I looked up TNT Amusements on Youtube and found Party Zone in Bargain Basement #16, video #1390 @ minute marker 13. This video has the price. The fact that TNT did the rehab I knew this was the value of the game and disclosed the video to the buyer. Knowing the game I did see the cabinet bracket in the video (Bargain basement #1402 at minute 4:08 & again at 11:15) Todd also did stated that the back glass is now plexi-glass, another issue buyer has made. Its disclosed in the video!! He did NOT watch the video of TNT that was disclosed to him. TNT sold this as a bargain basement deal for $2,800.00. The price is on the machine in the Bargain Basement video #16. Now I do have an issue with TNT as its assumed if TNT Amusements shopped it, its a higher end rehab. Now I would ask if its part of a bargain basement deal. Per the video the game was electronically shopped by TNT Amusements. Todd plays this game for a long time, shows features, and game play.
Back to the current deal: Buyer comes over with his friend, brings up the Flintstones and the dolly has flat tires. I leave both of them for awhile to get an air pump in a different building, leave both of them alone with Party Zone. They inspected the game during that time, looked at my other games, then took Party Zone and left. I later realized that he did not leave the topper to the game and contacted him. He tells me that the topper is in his SUV. I reply to mail it to me and I'll pay for it. He takes awhile to reply and I thought to myself he wants to keep the topper. He did reply that the topper is cheap, homemade bunch of toys.
This deal was done over a month ago and now he leaves me negative feedback and states inaccurate fact account. His Flintstones had issues. I fixed them and never bothered him.
A few days later, his friend wanted to do another deal with me for my Judge Dredd. I turned it down. Glad I did. I'm not dealing with either of them again.
