I purchased my first pinball (Williams Spanish Eyes) about 10 years ago. It worked well when I bought it and still does minus a couple slow bumpers. I purchased my second (Bally Vector) 3 years ago. A machine I had to fix a problem that involved the right side flippers and after some phone conversations with a gentleman I met on line got it done. Still works great. I've decided I want a full project. I picked up a Williams "Big Deal" this past weekend. Hasn't been played in years and only lit up when I plugged it in and turned on. I have worked on it a couple evenings and have actually got it to "react" some and actually cycle through a couple times. I have really enjoyed the problem solving and getting to realize some success. I have a long way to go.....No where near working correctly. I have ordered some parts that should be here soon and I look forward to getting this "Big Deal" to playing correctly. I'm thinking this may end up being a hobby as I have enjoyed the trouble shooting to add to the fact that I really enjoy pinballs. I hope to continue adding to my collection. I like the feeling of accomplishment when I get one working as it should. There are a couple pinballs I hope to someday own...hopefully if they are projects I'll be confident enough to purchase and fix them.
