Wish I'd played pins back in the day, but I didn't. I largely ignored them in favor of vids. I really missed out.
I did play Whirlwind a bit when it came out, but didn't understand any of the rules, I just batted the ball around, manged to turn the fan on and thought it was kinda neat. But that's all.
A few years ago I started playing a few pins at CAX and got hooked. I think it was a High Speed that really turned me on to pins again. The week after CAX, I got a Black Pyramid and loved it. Then a Space Shuttle project that I learned how to read schematics to fix. Loved it as well. And it just went from there.
So much extra fun I could have had for so many years and I had no idea.
All I can do now is try to make up for it.
