    Quoted from wylcot:

    Hey there!
Just asking for your help here...
I also created this game on the French pinball forum https://flipjuke.fr/, but it got stuck on a picture, and I'd like to restart it...
Any idea on this one? (sorry pinwiztom for cutting in)

Rescue 911. I met the designer a few years ago. Talked my ear off but a good dude.

    Ahlala!
Le Lorenz ! Grillé, je suis!
En même temps, c'est pour la bonne cause !
Le sujet est dead depuis juillet !

    #2353 6 years ago

    Thanks Leon !
    Always on the edge !
Glad that you like that game !

Now, back to Pinwiztom's one !

    #2354 6 years ago

So I saw the thread was alive and checked in. (knew the 911 without looking).

But, was a new picture posted or did the language just change?

    #2355 6 years ago

    Hola Paco! Que Tal?
    Donde esta la biblioteca??
    Muy Bien Y tu?

    #2356 6 years ago

Could not find the pin but here is another shot of Moonbeam McSwine from Lil' Abner comic strip.

It is a sport themed game.

    #2361 6 years ago

    A little more.

    New clue?

    1 week later
    #2366 6 years ago

Well, I guess at that point, anyone can restart the game...

    #2367 6 years ago

Here is a teaser posted in EM hangout
from a member of this thread.
I do not know the answer yet, but probably not too hard to figure out

    pasted_image (resized).pngpasted_image (resized).png

    #2368 6 years ago

Pretty sure it is a WMS woody because of the black inside trim on the head surround

    #2369 6 years ago

Turns out above is WMS Sea Wolf
    http://www.ipdb.org/showpic.pl?id=2088&picno=1976

    someone else can post

    #2370 6 years ago

I'm not going to post. Sorry about the WNBJM picture. I did not realize it was still on me. I'm used to the thread popping up, not having to search for it so I though it died.

    #2371 6 years ago

    OK then I'll post.

    From the backglass...

    BG (resized).JPGBG (resized).JPG

    #2372 6 years ago

This thread's like set it and forget it now. lol.

It is a Williams woodrail game with flippers.

    #2373 6 years ago

    That's a tough one.
Me I thought it's Times Square, Super-Score or COD but it's not

    #2374 6 years ago

of course it has got to be Pinky
    http://www.ipdb.org/showpic.pl?id=1801&picno=10640&zoom=1
as odin had to have taken a hi-res photo off his own game
to make the caddy look so big and clear.

    #2375 6 years ago

    staying with WMS woodies

Yep. And a lovely game it is. I fixed those thumper bumpers by the way and now they are very snappy.

    #2378 6 years ago

Star fairy looks like a Stern
Going to guess Galaxy, but could be another classic Stern

    #2380 6 years ago

    IT is not a woody

    pasted_image (resized).pngpasted_image (resized).png

This was the only snippet from this game's playfield
that would not totally give it away.

    #2381 6 years ago

A fast Fortune is easy to earn
just go with a Winner, like ALI did with Stern !

    #2382 6 years ago

    Correct answer (Mardi-Gras-Man)
Now its your turn to post another visual clue for another game.

Also just wondering why you are so fascinated with WMS Mardi Gras pinball
    to own 4 of them.
It is a great looking game and one that i have owned
    but four of them?

    #2383 6 years ago

    Thanks Tom
Well that's a long story and would not fit in here.

So you don't own your MG anymore?

Maybe we can write another time about it.

OK so here is my visual clue - and NO it's NOT from a Mardi Gras that would be too easy ))
It's from a Playboard of course.

Took me 3 guesses but finally found it on Wiggler

My old Mardi Gras pin is now under the custodianship of the Pacific Pinball Museum

    Hi dear Tom,
to answer your question about my collection just have a look at the thread 'does your Girl play too' where I set a post one minute ago
But I must say your new visual clue is very hard - I've got no idea, sorry.

My wife was not a pinhead,
but that is how i met her,
as she was selling her only pin
an Elvira pin on ebay 7-1/2yrs ago.
I will try to make the next clue a little easier,
just did not want to make it too obvious.

    #2388 6 years ago

    Mardi Gras: http://www.ipdb.org/showpic.pl?id=1544&picno=18040&zoom=1

    Very timely clue, pinwiztom!

    this might be too easy

    #2391 6 years ago

This must be Gottlieb's Tribute to Sir Roger Moore from 1980.

Next one - this might be rather difficult so here's a hint - it's a european one.

The odd-ball ones I have little chance of ever having seen is a big reason I kind of lost interest in this thread.

But this one is Rock 2500

    http://www.ipdb.org/showpic.pl?id=3538&picno=52918

There is not one picture I could take from the new Star Wars that is not easily recognizable clip art.

Here is one from a game I might be playing tonight. If I disappear again send me a PM.

    Well done!
I'm rather new in this Forum and I thought it would be rather annoying for most of you to post pictures of 'well known' games so please excuse me

I think that is the secret to why this thread went into the thousands of posts. Creatively selecting a picture from a well known game, but having it be a "not so well know detail". Or even if the game is not well known but something in the picture gives away enough detail to figure it out. The style of the artist, the piece that gives away the theme or even the shape of a playfield part to narrow the company and era.

Some of the participants here have done playfield restores and see these small areas we glance over. I am constantly finding things I have not noticed in games I have owned for many years.

    1 week later
    #2395 6 years ago

It was made in the past couple of years. This was a fist title released by the company. I am hoping to finally play their second title (Alien).

    #2396 6 years ago

Well that narrowed it down. Full Throttle: http://www.ipdb.org/showpic.pl?id=6301&picno=68639&zoom=1

    Next clue from the backglass:

    image-10 (resized).jpgimage-10 (resized).jpg

    #2398 6 years ago

Brought this pin with me tonite to my (44yr) high school reunion.
Yeah i know it is an odd year for a reunion,
but we ain't getting any younger and 30th was last reunion that was organized.
Chose this pin mainly because its theme was same as our school mascot.
Some people I recognized immediately , some not a clue without help of name tags provided.
Pinball was a hit, though it did not get much action the 1st few hours, but had constant play the last few.
