I have zero invested in any jpop game, but I will definitely hassle him if I see him at Expo.

If he shows up just take some pictures from far away while he's walking away. That showed Kevin! lol
Would love to see some video of him getting confronted and told off in public.
I suggest that website needs some even less flattering photos of him plastered on top. Not like the current ones are any good but still.
Quoted from wizard_mode:damn i wonder if john papa duece knows that his hate thread is 19.5 thousand posts long!?! holy crap!
Yes. He reads every post.
Quoted from Shrub_Light:It doesn't matter, let's have another 10,000 posts of misinformation, wild speculation from the self proclaimed experts and people bitching just to hear themselves bitch.
That's pinside in a nutshell
In production means nothing. They sent a batch of junk improperly printed playfields to be clear coated and that is where production stands.
Quoted from jlm33:Just to clarify:
Are you talking about Houdini, or MG?
And what do you mean by "build"? As in JPop-Kiss blinking box of lights? Or as a playable game shipped to customers?
Quoted from toyotaboy:If at least 5 magic girls (with completed playfields and reasonable code) ships in 2017, I will happily send you $25, so deal
Quoted from pinballrockstar:Cool,it's on
I just feel bad about pinballrockstar losing $25, seems like a nice guy from the minions build thread
Quoted from DennisK:JPOP denies:
• Failing to perform under the purchase agreements
• That a failure to perform resulted in damages to the plantiff(s)
• That the plantiff(s) is entitled to a return of their deposit
These alone really piss me off. Why the hell doesn't he think people are entitled to a return of their deposit when he didn't deliver what they paid for??!?!?!?!!
Quoted from pinballrockstar:Sounds like i am winning $25 bet with toyotaboy!
Winner!
Hell froze over!
Don't count your chickens.... but I hope you are right!
So are they building these games with the garbage playfields that used the wrong kind of ink and would not work with the clearcoat?
Quoted from Jjsmooth:Sad how lack of communication, lack of integrity, lack of perceived ability, and lack of common sense makes for a rare collectible.
Well it's pretty easy to make something rare. I would hardly call it collectible though. It has that jpop stinky taint to it and always will.
Quoted from mbaumle:Not sure if that bumper refers to what the feature list states as:
Not sure what a magnetic jet bumper would entail, but it certainly sounds interesting.
It means a magnet will stick to the metal parts
Quoted from forensicd:No matter what you think of the game or how it shoots this thing is going to be extremely collectible. 20 made and one of the great stories (and shitty at the same time) makes this sought after. Would I want one? Hell yes! I want it for its rarity the same way I collect rare diecast tricks (tonkas, smith miller, doepke etc). If you look at as the next great playing pin you are going at it wrong.
No, not collectible at all. Won't be sought after.
I don't know how much applejuice is owed but maybe the MG owners could send a little cash his way if they feel comfortable doing so after getting their game and play testing? I understand the games are paid in full and there is no obligation to pay any more for anything.
Quoted from guyincognito:Serious question... If I went on Craigslist right now and listed a Baywatch for $100K is the new benchmark price for a Baywatch $100K?
Yes. Because any fool selling a Baywatch would then reference your unsold listing as an indicator of value
Quoted from Coyote:What does the Arduino control? That's news to me..
I was curious about that myself... why the heck do you need an arduino if you have a full fledged PC running the game?
Also, I hope the arduino never dies unless you have the sketch that it's running to program to a new unit.
Quoted from pinballrockstar:Big bucks make an auction end early
And now it's not documented on the internet what it sold for.
Quoted from CrazyLevi:May I remind you sir, you are under oath!
F-bombs and calling people dickless cowards are allowed under oath!
Quoted from fastpinball:Sure thing. Let me know how it goes.
On our FAST Controllers we use a coprocessor setup where one processor manages communication from the PC and the state of the RGB LEDs. Then another handles instructions from the first processor and tells the leds what color to be in the method they require.
In your setup, I expect something similar where the Arduino is the second processor, taking commands from the PC.
If you can identify the message format being sent to the arduino then creating a "sketch" to work with it shouldn't be too hard. Especially when using frameworks like the one I linked to above.
Good luck!
Aaron
FAST Pinball
The coder stated that he has the arduino sketches ready to go, not sure if he would share them though?
Quoted from Jvspin:But it is a rare work of art.
The game contains some nice artwork by a talented artist. The game as a whole is an embarrassment and a piece of junk.
Quoted from QuickSilverShelby:OK......it's 3 hours later............I've had several cocktails now.
F#ck Jpoop!!!!!
QSS
You are allowed to say fuck
Quoted from rai:How many MG pins were produced did this complete Jpops obligations for that title?
Just a small handful and NO.
Quoted from blueberryjohnson:Also not a fan. Find perplexing the widely expressed opinion that Magic Girl is one of the most beautiful games ever made (if not the most beautiful).
According to who, John?
