Cleaning my CFTBL and my hologram window was trashed, so I bought a new one. Any advise on keeping this scratch free?

If you have your old one, just get a polishing kit for a drill. The sponge type ones that are round and have a flat bottom. Harbor freight has them for 15 bucks or so. The windows will polish up nicely. I used some high grit wet sand paper to get the major scratches out then novus 3 then 2. Got very shiny again. It does take time, but it's easily done. Then you can keep the newer one as your spare, or take it out periodically and shine it up!

Also mylar would be easy enough to put on just the window. It would be easy enough to remove if you ever needed to. Just slap it on using the wet method, kinda like window tint and smooth, then use a razor blade to trim the edges. Perhaps look for a tablet computer screen protector and use that, it's basically the same thing.

That sounds like an awesome idea . . .
