replace the guide with a doner... I have #2 nut and bolt hardware I use over trying to re-revet the guide inplace.
Quoted from currieddog:Or you can rig a paper clip to keep it in place. Works fine on my Aquarius.
Hi currieddog , maybe jaybird5619 could use a picture

I opened up the paper clip so it still has two loops and put one on a safe part of the reel and the other on a wire bundle wrap. I had initially tried to drill a hole so I could use a cotter pin, ala early 60s, but the area is too small to really get it right.

If you're saying you're using part of the wiring bundle to hold a mechanical part stable, I recommend against that, sorry.

The rack holds it; the paper clip just keeps it from sliding.
replace the piece, not that hard...especially using nut and bolt hardware. I'd even mail you a set of three for the job as well as the tabbed guide
Quoted from pinhead52:And you'll have a private message "PM" from me too.
Which you can reply to.
PBR sells the plastic part? I have a Jet Spin with a decent number if these broken off.
Quoted from pinhead52:Here's my kit, took me 1 minute to drill out the guide. 1 guide, and qty 4 nut/washer/bolt pieces (in case you loose one)
(A perfectionist would use a drop of blue locktite on the screw threads)

I dont beleive so (you could ask Steve thou..), I just troll ebay and pick up a surplus cage every once in a while.

Do you know where it is on their site or what the part number is?
Quoted from Billc479:PBR has the plastic. Its not that hard to rivet it if you have the right tool.
Quoted from MikeO:C-10808 Lock Slide is the part number and description but I don't believe PBR has these either.
My freebie guide says B-10808, so there! (you can see it in the above pic)
I got several from PBR a few years ago, and I haven't run out of them to try and reorder. Like Pinhead52 said, call Steve and ask.
Quoted from jaybird5619:pinhead52 -- I'll take you up on your offer - and be happy to pay what they're worth. I'm a rookie here ... is there a way for me to privately give you my address?
my email... kheadache at gmail.com
Awesome....thanks :> Knew I should have looked closer
