Wow, I saw you with your camera so I knew you were taking photos, just not of everything! Even with all the photos and videos we all take of the place it still doesn't do it justice till you visit yourself. Even after almost a full week I still didn't play everything. I'd much rather come to play Tim's collection then walk around on The Strip and waste my money in the casinos. It was great to finally play the Haunted House after seeing it down for so long. (I got a full video of me playing it)
With what some folks are saying about the LED's after spending some time, I really don't mind them. Only in a few games where they used older model LED's do you notice. The Addams Family and Twilight Zone are WAY too dark but I do like the way the Wedgeheads look in LED's. It really showcases more of the art in the game and brightens them up and they look really nice. It's when some people go overboard with multicolors and stuff that just doesn't belong. Thankfully Tim and the crew keep them all white, I've seen videos where people put multicolor, color changing LED's in games made in the 60's and 70's and it stands out like a sore thumb.
I also noticed a lot of games are using the new Superbands. It's hit or miss for me. I think some folks said they feel better when they've had some use and I tend to agree. When I went the Saturday before Modern Pinball NYC's opening they had just put in new Superbands into the games and they didn't feel right to me, the ones at PHoF have been used and feel a little bit better as far as gripping the ball but the bounce feels a bit off sometimes. If I was a home owner I'd be sure I'd notice it more on a game I've played a million times, but that's how I feel as a once and a while pinball player.
