“Home of the Batman '66 Computer Console Cover!”
Biz information Shop home
I recently purchased my first NIB pin, the wonderful Batman '66. This is such a great pin that has something for everyone, from novice to advanced players, along with that great Franchi art, not to mention Lyman code, and it's just plain fun! This is definitely a winner, and it's going to stay in my game room forever. Of course, there are some really great mods out there that add much more to this pin, allowing owners spiff up its appearance and making it their own unique machine.
One of the things that bothered me a bit, though, was the backs of the Computer Consoles, which could be plainly seen when the mini rotating playfield was in the Villian Vision position. The look of the LED strips, along with the exposed wires, looked unfinished to me, and my eye always seemed to look there. Also, I was somewhat concerned that an errant airball might fly up there and damage the strip, causing all kinds of mayhem.
So, I set about designing a cover for the consoles, something that would be esthetically pleasing in appearance as well as providing some protection. I think I've accomplished that with this Computer Console Cover.
These are hand made from aluminum sheet, cut, trimmed, and formed to shape to fit neatly on the back and sides of both consoles, presenting a clean, finished look. Also, no need to worry now about airballs causing damage!
Available in pairs, these are available for purchase for $25, plus $5 shipping within the continental US (please contact me for an international shipping price quote).
So give your Batman '66 that finished look with these Computer Console Covers, and then get back to catching those villains!
