After cleaning around the battery holder area There is where Q40 is near the reset 2n4401's
Check for a Q40 with a broken leg.

On power up U25 RAM FAILURE Error will show on the score displays and the cpu button test will show #1 on the red led display Even if U25 is still good/replaced.

The next step is to check Read write mem protect (RW mem protect) signals and
Chip Enable (CE) signals.

They must be Present, if blocked the U25 Error will remain until all data paths are functional.

No Chip Enable signal:

The chip enable signal runs thru Q40 which is a 3904 and can fail
replace re test.

No Read Write Mem protect signal
This signal is blended at U31 and must also be present.

Confirm these signals are present before removing U25 RAM

When Adjust Failure and factory settings is displayed at this point U25 is now passing.
Cycle the machine off then on with coin door open unlocking memory protect.
While In game over mode the settings may now be added by entering choices using the coin door and game start buttons.
