Does anyone know the story behind the Beat Time machine (maybe a link to the story?) I've heard stories saying it was meant to be a Beatles pin but the licensing never came through. I'm not sure that's true because licensing didn't seem too big of a thing in the 60s (thinking Bonanza a few years earlier wasn't a true licensed pin, nor Fair Lady in the 50s) Was Beat Time always planned as a parody pin?

Joey, er, Art.
