It's like a board game video game combined.. but to the extreme- This is the best way to describe pinball to someone who does not play.
I enjoy the rules of a game. Its not just flip the flippers and keep the ball in play for as long as you can. Most people who never played pinball dont realize how this works.
I love the skill involved when you hit your shots one after another. Its like an art.
When I was a kid I played video games and pinball at my local spot. Grew up on nintendo. Played video games on the computer and arcades when I was a teen to mid 20ies. So my whole life I have always enjoyed gaming. To me Pinball is the pinnacle of that. Its "reality" gaming which is better than "virtual".
I also enjoy introducing people to pinball when they have no clue why I am so into it. Once most people find out about the game and rules and the whole challenge it opens their eyes up and there like "words with friends suck I got to get me a pin!".
I like to tinker with my pins. Cleaning, waxing, changing out a switch, making adjustments, setting it up how I like it exc.
